About

I’m a technologist, writer, researcher, musician, teacher, and artist in Seattle. I hold a PhD in creative writing from the University of Cincinnati, where I taught courses in fiction, composition, and digital media studies.

I’m invested in creative collaboration that makes a big impact.
I’ve built a public-facing literary audio archive from scratch with an overlooked library archive. I’ve helped expand the possibilities of BigGAN with new online tools. And recently, I launched one of the most robust public records on anti-transgender legislation in the US.

Over the years, I’ve helped edit magazines like American Short Fiction, co-founded an annual two-day music festival, written and directed short films, and even created and syndicated an NPR radio segment about cultural oddities.
